I don't know what it is, but that movie just oozes cool. I don't usually like cheesy horror flicks, but this one just clicks...

2. I thought it was cool.
People I know who don't like it are like, "Yeah, but like it's this tough-guy criminal movie and then all of a sudden, there are vampires!"

And I'm like, "That's what makes it cool!!"

5. refresh my memory...is this the cheesy flick
Edited on Mon Nov-29-04 03:04 PM by Lerkfish
from Tarantino that devolves from a cheesy crime thriller to a cheesy implausible vampire movie, or is this the cheesy vampire/tv evangelist thriller with Dennis Miller fighting vamps with Klieg lights?

If the second, I think that was fun cheesy satire.
If the first, I changed the channel because I found it frustrating to watch.

they're both cheesy, though.

if you want a cheesy but GOOD vampire flick, watch the one with Roddy Mcdowell where he's a has been horror actor hosting a late night creature feature (after midnight? The name escapes me). That was fun, cheesy but still watchable.

ahhh.. I remembered: Fright Night.

10. It's the Rodriguez/Tarantino flick
The Dennis Miller one is Bordello of Blood, also featuring Corey Feldman and Angie "Yowza!" Everheart.

12. I didn't like it either(even with Juliette Lewis who I usually like)
my sister and I kept fast forwarding through the bar scene (we rented the vhs back in the 90's)it just went on and on and on. I usually like "off" movies but the bar scene just drug on and on and on for us...maybe it was our mood at the time. I hated Kill Bill the first time I saw it and ending up loving it a few months later when I watched it again.

16. That dance made me want to be her footstool
and drink cheap beer or tequila of her feet. I don't have any kind of foot fetish mind you. She is just so hot, and her character appeared to have some foot thing going on, so I'll take whatever she is giving.

19. Exactly. I've never been into feet...but for 3 minutes of that film...
...you can squarely categorize me as a fetishist!

She is so hot as a human I still would have hit it when she was all monstered up.

oh, and ps, she's a Dem: http://www.newsmeat.com/fec/bystate_detail.php?st=CA&last=Hayek&first=Salma

11. Salma's dance in the movie gave me stirrings.
And I'm strait.
Some of it though was kind of disturbing- Quentin Tarentino's character especially. :puke:

17. Cool B movie
Very campy and sexy. The vampires were a little too Nosferatu for my taste. I am really into hot, sexy vampires a la Buffy and Angel, or Lestat.
