6. Bricks are bad - they decompose and the sediment can cause problems

10. I buy those by the case...... That's your family?
I only use the red ones because of the chlorine content in our local water (Bronx) but I put those in for my customers almost daily. Great product.

yep, my great grandpa was one of the original investors back in the 1910's, my grandfather took over once he retired and my aunt and uncle control it now...i used to work there in high school

keep spreading the word!

7. Bricks or Water Bottles
We used to fill old dishwashing liquid bottles with water and put them in the tank. Sometimes 2 or 3.
Now I have a low water flow tank, so I don't need either.

14. You laugh
but in other parts of the world they have a saying - "If it's Yellow, let it Mellow, if it's Brown, flush it down".

We've done it and it does save water - but it leaves stains in your toilet (all those minerals I guess). And if you're trying to sell your house you'll end up using horrid chemicals to get those stains out and so it ends up being a wash.
