Need networking help from the DU PC gurus |
|
I have a microsoft router that sends a signal two floors down to the family room computer. Today, no signal, although my computer which is attached to said router is fine. Also, my laptop, which worked fine in the airports last week, won't connect to my network. Any thoughts?

1. you probably need to reset the router |
|
turn it off/unplug it, then turn it back on and restart your PCs

3. Go into control panel>network |
|
right click on the icon for that network interface and repair connection.
If that doesn't work, drill down into it and see if it is getting an IP address from the DHCP server in the router.
If that doesn't work...bring it over to my house. I'll fix it. ;-)
