My experience talking to Republican men is that they insist on public policy legislating a morality they aren't willing to practice themselves--e.g. women should be denied to have abortion but the men themselves can have sex with whomever they please without consequence.

It's funny to listen to my 18 year old daughter talk about sexuality. Her times are so different than the times I grew up in - where being called a lesbian was the worst thing that could happen to you. I find that I am quite jealous of the open-minded attitudes she experiences, because I didn't find that when I was younger. As a result, I struggled with my sexuality for a very long time.
