Smack Yer Kid a Good One for the Republicans

So, it's Dean "Visibility Day" and, coincidentally, "Heritage Days" in a mountain community just north of here. The local Democrats had a parade float and Democratic candidate supporters were invited to come up, wear their t-shirts, buttons, etc and ride on the float. (Cruz Bustamone's parents joined us on the float as well.) So, in support of our fellow Democrats and getting into the spirit of Dean Visibility Day, we donned our "Dean" t-shirts and took off up to the hills.

We're toolin' along, waving at the nice people when we pass a woman with three little girls (they looked about 5-7 years old). Hunkmeister and I smiled and waved at them and they were waving back when, all of a sudden, Mommy Dearest SMACKS their little hands down and says, "Don't wave at them! They're Democrats!"

Ya just gotta LOVE those Family Values. :eyes:
