Poll question: Which bumper sticker should I put on my car? |
|
Here are the choices, let me know what you think. I am torn, so the winner goes on the ol' Minivan of Radicalism tomorrow. My neighbors always look to see what new "statement" I have, so it does definitely get noticed!
(I'm leaving the Kerry-Edwards sticker on.)

I already am.
What happened was, first I put on the TEXAS DEMOCRAT sticker. Proudly. It is still on, but it's kinda small and down on the bumper so it's not too bad.
Then I put some Dean stickers on, way back when. Those came off.
Eventually I had "Show Bush the Door in 2004!" which was replaced by the beautiful Kerry-Edwards sticker. I am defiantly leaving that one on, I want people to know I voted for the SMART one. Plus I'm proud of my vote.
I had a sticker for a state candidate on there, but I took that one off.
So now I have room for others. And I found that bumper stickers are like tattoos--you get one and you think "Eh, what's one more?" and before you know it you are driving the Ghettomobile, better known in this house as the Minivan of Radicalism.
A LOT of people know my car, I found out. It's a very distinctive color and I've had people say "Oh I KNOW that van!" then they describe it. Quite freaky.
So it gets seen. A lot. All three, you crack me up. I wouldn't be able to see out the back window. I see it as providing a service. If you are behind me, I give you some reading to do at stop lights.

All 3 are good. I applaud you for being so "public" in your activism. I know that sounds conflicted, but that is my life. In rural Arkansas and owning a small business, it is scary to openly declare oneself as an activist, especially for the left. In dealing with my customers, if they asked I would tell. A big majority in my area "think" they are Bush supporters. I say "think" because they are generally nice people who know very little beyond the headlines of the nightly news, and "think" that Bush is a symbol of morality and Christian values. Very frustrating!

did you miss the fact that I live in Texas? Yeah, like I want my windows busted out.
LOL! (But serious about the windows part. Unfortunately. They can be THAT rabid.)

7. My "Show Bush the Door in 2004" sticker |
|
had to be replaced FOUR times and I got a nice lovely scratch down the side of the van one of the times (jokes on them, it's old, it's a light color and I really don't care about the paint job that much).
I have a friend who had a big ol' "FUCK BUSH" sticker (not just the Buck Fush one) and she got her windows smashed in with bricks or a baseball bat or something. All four of them. And the sticker was gone.

Rock! If I had the balls, and physically I don't, and didn't need my car, I'd do that!

8. I would recommend the (Bush Again?) sticker! |
|
It features the face from "the scream", and to celebrate your getting into graduate school, I'd be happy to send you one. I just ordered 20! Oops, I'm doing that exclamation point thing. You can PM with your address, if you'd like.
