Festivus is a deeply religious holiday. Mocking it in these threads is wrong. I plan to put up the Festivus pole this weekend and celebrate Festivus Maximus in true Costanza fashion. We are having the traditional Festivus meal of spaghetti and meatloaf covered in a red sauce on December 23rd. After which we gather around the eight-foot aluminum pole for "The Feats of Strength." My father has passed on, so instead I will be holding a brother-sister wrestling match. Once I pummel my sister into the carpet, we will return to the table for "The Airing of Grievances." Here I look forward to insulting my family as I detail the reasons why my family members were such a disappointment throughout that year.
