A really angry RANT- and I need a link

Extreme home makeover really sank to the bottom of the mud last night. did a show with a child with Osteogenesis Imperfecta. A serious disease for children born with it. Great they made the house safe for him, glad they did a two story doghouse. But when they brought in a little girl with the same disease and showed her the boys new house and then kicked her out without anything. nasty people going for nothing more than ratings. take your contractors with their cute little pink tool belts and kiss my ass. I will never watch again.

1. The tendency for *reality* shows to hype and distort ...

is the exact reason that I avoid watching them like the plague. When I have 30 mins or so to relax, I tune into Sundance, NWI, History Channel, History Channel International and DIY Network (when they're doing legitimate instruction - not kissing a celebrity's a**).

History and investigative current event news is IMHO the best reality information/show.

I never watch this show, but there must be a way to contact them and complain...I'll be glad to do that...don't know if "throwing the girl out" has a sexist dimension, but I wouldn't be surprised...It's mean - any way you look at it.

3. God what a GEEK you are-that was a very sweet show

Last night was the "How did they do that?" part the actual show was on Sunday night. Yeah I watched it-I had never seen the show before so I watched it.

How on Earth could you have not liked that show? When the contractors guys didn't show up the local firemen came on a moments notice (I know I know it's TV) and a soldier who was shipping out THE NEXT MORNING for Afghanistan showed up too.

You had a problem with that? You had a problem with them not helping EVERYONE? Don't you think they are setting up a second make-over? Are you getting enough oxygen?

Sheesh!
