I have a close friend who is drop-dead gorgeous, and he often talks about how unattractive he feels. Judging by your photo, you're a good looking guy too, and you're saying the same thing. I guess how we feel on the inside often has nothing to do with our outward appearance and other folks' perceptions of us. I've never felt particularly attractive myself, but a lot of (good-looking) men have been attracted to me, so I guess I am--but it's hard to take it to heart.

Do I have a succesful relationship? No.

Have I ever, in fact, been happy in love? No.

Do I make more money than average or benefit in any material/professional way from my looks? No.

Do I have an easier time of it in life? Well, maybe, in that I get doors opened for me, etc. But on a bigger level? Nope.

Looks are freak accidents of genetics. It doesn't reflect in any way on my worth as a person. Why not be honest about them?
