Poll question: Do You Wear Sunglasses? |
|
I have to.
My friends make fun of me, saying that I'm just trying to "look cool", but I hate the bright light! GAH!

You are showing off, pozah :D. I don't even though I am told I should, because of my droopy eye, but I don't because one, they don't look good on me and two I think I would like an arrogant bastard, god I remember this kid I played in basketball, he thought he was so big because he wore shades, stupid fucktard, I was glad to have fouled him on purpose in my final b-ball game, and hey I got 20 points. Sorry for the rant.

I am agressive and competitive when I play sports, this asshole was asking for it, ha you should see me go on my rants about baseball and how I was cheated because I wasn't a coach's kid, da was always working when I played. I have to say among my finest hours are striking out the son of the guy who promised to let me pitch but never did in an all star game, yeah thats right, I struck your boy out! :D.

11. My meds combo makes me 'light-sensitive', so yes |
|
The combination of Effexor and lithium makes me really light-sensitive for some reason. In fact, I had to stop using my lightbox for my Seasonal Affective Disorder because it was wigging me out too much.
But they are prescription sunglasses because I'm damn near blind without them. :P

17. better for the health of your eyes to wear them, also if they are |
|
large enough, block some sun from the delicate skin around your eyes, which keeps you looking younger longer.
Plus,you don't squint either

People with light-colored eyes really ought to wear sunglasses. It protects your eyes.
So yes, I wear them. Some vanity is involved too. Not squinting slows down the development of crow's feet.

27. Do you wear them at night? |
|
Because if you're wearing to block the sun, then they have an actual function. It's good to protect your eyes from the rays, especially if you wear contacts.
Besides, they do look cool!

They keep the bright sun from triggering migraines, they make headlights easier to deal with at night, and they keep snow and rain out of my eyes.

Just like you, my friends make fun of me because I'm forever forgetting to take them off indoors. So, they'll say things like, "Too bright in here for ya, Kath?"
I have terribly sensitive eyes, and anytime I go outdoors, unless its full dark out, I have sunglasses on.

My eyes get really sensitive to the sun when I'm wearing the contacts. I wish I had about $3K to drop on the laser surgery.
