guys, how do i upload my own avatar image - and use HTML in my sig?

i tried to upload my own avatar image and it wont' work :( i'm so confused. i just put the link in, and it gave me an error. i saw some code about 'personal13432423' or whatever, but i don't understad it.

And I am usually pretty good with HTML and BB code, but i can't seem to put any images or colors in my sig. Can someone please help me???

1. Did you upload an image from your hard drive...

when prompted? Once you do that, you have to take that number they give you and paste it into your avatar field on your Profile page - and then click Update at the bottom of the page.

... I don't know about your avatar problem, it do believe when the board uploads it, it places it in a personalXXXX folder or renames it but that should not be your concern.

It is easy to use HTML tags in your sig, just replace the less-than and greater-than symbols ( <> ) with square brackets (if I type them in it might try to parse so I won't, the ones underneath the - + and \ on your keyboard).

You can use tags like Font and such, but it won't let you use a Table.


Right now signatures are turned off! You will not see it even if you get it right.

i got my avatar to work, now let me see if my sig worked....guess i gotta wait till later tonite when sigs are enabled...
