I thought Dayquil wasn't supposed to make me feel loopy
Edited on Tue Nov-30-04 09:12 PM by tridim
I just took some because my head feels like it's in a vice, now I feel all goofy and hazy. Whats up with that?

I guess it's worth it because I'm sick of my ears popping and coughing up gallons of phlegm.

8. I got some Nyquil too, for tonight
Edited on Tue Nov-30-04 09:40 PM by tridim
I slept about 30 minutes last night and had a 9:00am meeting at work. I'm not doing that again.

BTW, the buzz is starting to feel really nice now. :hi: I might have to do an herbal enhancement experiment in a few.

7. I just got over a cold,
and I truly do not believe that DayQuil and NyQuil are legal, while marijuana is illegal.

Fabulous buzz. Stay home, though.

12. Here here!
I love those commericals that say if you buy pot you are supporting terrisoum. That has got to be about the dumbest argument I've heard. Talk about circular reasoning. Legalize pot, and there is no crime, because no one will be buying the stuff from off the street. Its so easy to grow, and you can grow your own, a quality which is far better than anything these street thugs sell you can't even compair it. So when, not if but when they make it legal, you will have not only a safe legal buzz, but a high quality AND SAFE drug.

11. Dayquil contains Pseudoephedrine, dextromethorhpan and
Dextromethorhpan which is a cough suppressant and of course Pseudoephedrine HCl is a nasal decongestant.

most antihistamines will cause drowsiness. (for what it's worth, the only antihistamie that has ever worked well for me is tynelol sinus)

Some of the side effects of Dayquil are (according to drugs.com)
The antihistamine in this medicine may cause some people to become drowsy, dizzy, or less alert than they are normally. Some antihistamines are more likely to cause drowsiness than others (loratadine , for example, rarely produces this effect). Make sure you know how you react before you drive, use machines, or do anything else that could be dangerous if you are dizzy or are not alert .

The decongestant in this medicine may add to the central nervous system (CNS) stimulant and other effects of diet aids. Do not use medicines for diet or appetite control while taking this medicine unless you have checked with your doctor .

The decongestant in this medicine may cause some people to be nervous or restless or to have trouble in sleeping. If you have trouble in sleeping, take the last dose of this medicine for each day a few hours before bedtime . If you have any questions about this, check with your doctor.

Antihistamines may cause dryness of the mouth, nose, and throat. Some antihistamine.
So anyway, that is all for now

Hope you get to feeling better. And... Try this, take some apple cider vinigar with warm water. its suppose to really help. And it sure can't make you feel worse.
