Just spent the day helping move furniture in 40C+ weather
My father and brother decided to move furniture today, and me being the helpful son/brother (I really mean idiot), said that I would help when they asked me if I would.
It took around 6-7hrs before we finally moved the last item, and the day had turned out to be hot, over 40C (which is around 105F+).

So after we had finally finished, I wasn't even offered a beer, and then had to walk home (about a 30min walk) in the heat because I had left my motorbike at home.

Anyone else have family that just pisses you off, and sometimes just seems to take advantage of things?

I know the next time I am asked to help with something I'll tell them to STFU!

2. A country town in Australia
and it gets pretty hot here. But I can't brag about the warm weather, since I'll be in NY soon. Right now I wouldn't mind some colder weather anyway.

7. grrrrrr!
there's seriously a shortage of Aussies around here! There's one New Zealand guy in my grad program, but he's taken too. You guys really don't know your own worth.

9. I'm going to have to remember that
us guys really don't know our own worth. Then the next time I have an argument with the girlfriend, I can just say "Honey, you don't know how lucky you are to have an Aussie boyfriend"

10. My girlfriend introduced me to here
thinking that I would like it, and she was right.
Living where I do it's also pretty hard to find people with similar social/political ideas and interests.

13. ughh Coors especially..
but my rugby team only has 13 members, so we play without flankers. Would be nice to be in a country that appreciates the sport more
