Do whispering people bug you? |
|
Edited on Wed Dec-01-04 02:04 PM by nytemare
For some reason people who whisper bug me almost as much as people who talk too loud on their cell phones like they want everyone to hear how important they are.
I suppose whisperers are more passive-aggressive...LOL.

I think when people whisper they have that sibilant "S" sound that drives me up a wall.

More often it's the people who are yelling at the top of their lungs who piss me off.

9. I don't think it is vain at all |

I think whispering is rude. If you don't want someone to know what you are saying, leave the room. If you are concerned about volume, just talk in a low tone. It is a passive-aggressive type of rude that irks me.

I can't stand it when people |
|
whisper something to me but they are incapable of both whispering AND enunciating correctly. End result? I didn't understand a thing they just whispered.
I have known people, too, who seem utterly incapable of speaking in a quiet voice. Seriously. They try and try and try and can only speak at FULL-ON TOP LEVEL.
Hate that, too.
