of the Gargantuas? The Ultimate cheesey monsters-trash-Japan movies ever. How can one beat a cheesey, bad female chanteuse who sings a really dumb song such as "The Words Get Stuck in My Throat" and then gets eaten by the "bad" gargantua? And it stars Russ Tamblyn (of West Side Story fame). There's also "Hot Rods to Hell"--ultimate B movie with the classic line "Don't take the car! You'll kill yourself!" Bad teenage angst movie and I love it! Anyone for "Faster PUssycat, Kill, Kill" or "Pink Flamingos"?

The part where Tom Hanks is trapped in the collapsed floor.

Best scene (for us, any way):

17. I love the Cheech and Chong stuff |
|
There is a scene where Cheech and Chong are sitting in a car smoking this giant joint (like a cigar) and the car is full of smoke. And then you find out they are sitting still on the edge of the road. Well, you have to be there. But I laugh until I'm sick. I guess because that one scene is so right on when it comes to being stoned.

Some of these movies weren't trashed by critics at all, and a few are movie snob standbys - Dogma is one. I'm pretty sure critics loved it.
Anyway, for me, an embarrassing movie is "Can't Hardly Wait." I think it's hilarious as all hell.

60. Blast from the Past and So I married an Ax Murderer |
|
They're both contrived, silly romantic comedies that owe far more to 30's Screwball than anyone realizes, but they're so adorable.
Fraser and Silverstone play off of each other so beautifully, and really, the dialogue is a near perfect update of that witty, fast Screwball pacing. And the supporting cast was very good.
I'm not a Mike Myers fan in general - I like So I married and Shrek. (I despise Austin Powers) but this one is a guilty pleasure.
