Are those magnetic ribbons on cars really non-partisan? |
|
I support the troops and want them out of Iraq right now. But I think the people with the support the troops magnetic ribbons really support the war. Am I wrong?

Right next to all of my Democratic bumper stickers. As far as I'm concerned, all it says is "Support the Troops." I do. Good enoughh for me. I'm trying to make a point. Dunno if it's working or not.

2. I have mine right next to my KE bumper sticker... |

Just so the repukes understand that it is not only a BU** lover who supports the troops.
Last I heard, BU** wasn't fighting the war, our troops are, they are the ones dying and they are the ones who need support, not the jags in the office who sent us there under false pretense.
The supporting of the troops, be it by magnet sticker or whatever, should be and will be NON PARTISAN....this idea might have come from those slandering pukes that if you do not support the war or the president you are unpatriotic!
Those people dying in Iraq need our support even if we do not believe in what the man who calls the shots is doing!

It is on the fridge though, as my car is made from plastic. Of course I was thinking about my brother in the German Army, when I bought it ;-). (but, yes, I do support the US Army. In this city anything else would be strange indeed).

10. I read a news article |
|
last week that said the magnets on these things are causing paint to peel on the cars and once it starts peeling, it just keeps peeling into larger patches. So since I'm trying to keep this car as long as possible, I won't be using them. Most around here that have them are Repugs.
