Whatever happened too....? Thread
This was inspired by a friend of mine. She remembered this old TV show called Voyagers and she always wondered what happened to the guy who played Phinus Boggs. Jon-Erik Hexum(SP?) Anyways she later found out that he passed away while filming another TV show.

So I figured maybe we can do a Whatever happen too thread tonight. Just for some light entertainment.

Who would you love to know about? Even more interesting which DUer knows the happenings of that person you what to know about.

Anyone remember Nicholas Hammond? I remember him being the oldest son in the movie Sound of Music. Whatever happened to him?

6. I saw him play with Beach Boys in the '70s
And I just looked up in the Allmusic Guide:

The late-'90s trio of Ricci, Desi & Billy is the successor of Dino, Desi & Billy, a trio that recorded more than three decades earlier. The original group was composed of Dean Paul Martin, aka Dino Martin, Billy Hinsche, and Desi Arnaz Jr. The new lineup retained Hinsche and Arnaz, with the addition of Ricci Martin, who is Dino Martin's younger brother. The Martin brothers are the offspring of entertainer Dean Martin. Dino belonged to the California National Guard, and passed away when his jet crashed in 1987. Before joining his older brother's former musical partners, Ricci recorded solo and released the album Beached, from which the single "Stop, Look Around" was taken. He also worked as a VJ, produced records, and appeared in the Lisa Hartman film Tell Me You Love Me. In addition, he runs a recording studio in Utah. He hooked up with Arnaz and Hinsche in the autumn of 1998 after the three had performed at a Los Angeles memorial benefit held in honor of the Beach Boys' Carl Wilson. Arnaz, the son of entertainers Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball, is also an actor. He has appeared in theater productions, numerous television programs, and films, among them The Mambo Kings. With his wife, he runs the Boulder City Ballet Company. Hinsche, in addition to his work with the trio, works as Al Jardine's musical director. He played for many years with the Beach Boys. Before re-forming their trio, Arnaz and Hinsche sometimes appeared as a duo.

2. Oh I remember when JEH died, I had the biggest crush on him.
What can I say? I think I was in the ninth grade.

As for Nicholas Hammond it looks like he's still acting. When in doubt, IMDB it.

4. Okay, I had to look it up. I remember it was a show with a
fashion model turned photographer. "Cover up" and he died in October 1984. Wow, over twenty years ago.

9. Whatever Happened To?
Whatever happened to - twin sets
Whatever happened to - hi-fi
Whatever happened to - TV sex
Whatever happened to - you and I

Your passion is a product
(of) highlight and detail
That come hither look
Bonus offer retail

Whatever happened to - pick-up trucks
Whatever happened to - yellow pages
Whatever happened to - burning books
Whatever happened to - new ages

Your emotions are cheap
Cut price cash and carry
Your heart on your sleeve
For any Tom, Dick or Harry

Your love is a cashed-in cheque
Oh oh that's the way of all flesh

Whatever happened to - Chairman Mao
Whatever happened to - God above
Whatever happened to - the cow
Whatever happened to - plug-in love

Your pasteurised life so fit for consumption
Ooooo those undressing eyes so strictly commercial

Your love is a cashed-in cheque
Oh oh that's the way of all flesh
All flesh
All flesh
