Considering Jet Blue home for holidays... any experience/advice/comments?
We usually ante up our United mileage, but it seemed quite a hassle just getting through and seats and all.

So, I'm thinkin' Jet Blue.
But I don't know much about them.
Anyone offer experience? Advice?

Thanks!

2. JetBlue is great
brand new leather seats, great service, individual TV screens. United is my airline of preference too, but you can imagine how nuts it will be around the holidays.

5. DirectTV is good..
.. other than that, I'd say that they're pretty much your standard US LCC (don't bother comparing it to some European LCC's), apart from the fact that they're using A320's. Not to mention they have some spiffy tail art (I think they're up to 6 different ones now).

Also, not having a clue about where you'll be flying to, I've been told that their services to LGB are quite popular, since you don't have to deal with so loarge crowds as they have at LAX.

Also, here's a few trip reports courtesy of Airliners.net

6. Love 'em
(Even though they were a secret participant in providing passenger info to the Feds/HS.)

I flew JetBlue to NYC a few months ago, after taking the same trip on American the week before. The American flight sucked out loud. JetBlue was delightful.

New planes, more seat room, DirectTV at every seat, and they provide complimentary snacks which are much nicer than what passes for an in-flight meal any more.

I did NYT Sunday crossword puzzles (from a Best Of book), turned on the VH-1, and generally zoned all the way from coast to coast.

The DirectTV also has a channel where you can see where you are in the flight.

Way cool.

I flew Coach on American from San Jose to NYC - the WORST FLIGHT EVER!!! It wasn't even on a Boieng 747!

7. Bill Scannell, a good friend of ours has a lot of scary stuff about
Jet Blue and Delta, he also did the 'Boycott Delta' site. He was on Democracy Now and in Wired.
