I don't get Much Music on TV. So I haven't seen it forever. I had a chance today...and it fucking sucks now. It used to be a decent music station, with excellent shows that gave insightful comment on music, or brought you cool tunes, had a lot of independent music play, and let you know what was happening in the scene. Now, it's like MTV mickey mouse shit, one big commercial. Why would they change from being a quality station...we all know the answer...damn.

1. It's sucked for a while now
Really sad. It's just as bad as MTV now, I think.

2. Just wanted you to know that I am here. Sorry you are bummed. I listen
to opera CDs so I probably not your most knowledgeable audience.

5. They have a programming partnership with Viacom, now.
Owners of VH-1 and MTV. Hubby and I were very disappointed -- we used to look forward to watching MuchMusic on our frequent jaunts up into Ontario from Ohio. The past few times, the programming on Much was six month old reruns of MTV and VH-1 stuff we could already have seen here in the states, if we'd wanted to.

I don't know how 'deep' the partnership is, but it's deep enough to ruin Much. I feel for you, man. You think that's bad, you ought to see the 'Yank feed' -- it was bad enough before, now it's worse than any of the Viacom stuff.
