Poll question: White Castle / Krystal --- Red State / Blue State Poll
Edited on Thu Dec-02-04 01:52 AM by corporatemedia
I've only seen Krystal in the south and White Castle in the north?

Is this the source of our political divide?

3. Red State with Both
Edited on Thu Dec-02-04 01:50 AM by Penguin31
KY...White Castle in Western, Northern KY. Krystal in Southern, Eastern. Middle counties have both.

And, interestingly enough, the White Castle areas are the ones that tend to go blue...at least compared to the Ultra-Red Krystal areas

6. There's no such thing as Red States/Blue States. It's a corporate media
sham used as propaganda designed to divide Americans. Now if you come to New Orleans, you'll see that we carry ALL brands of alcohol. ;)

Hey DUers! Put on your Magic Sunglasses and you'll see what corporate media is really selling us! :D

10. White Castles originated somewhere in the north just not sure
however KRYSTALS originated in Chattanooga, Tennessee and are all over the southeastern United States.

I grew up on KRYSTALS, have to eat them every time I go home to Kentucky.

Where I live in Texas, we have neither, unless you count frozen in the supermarket. I understand there is a Krystal in Kileen, near Ft Hood and that there are plans to open a couple here in the Metroplex.

I love both Krystals and White Castle, just happen to prefer Krystal.

Clarksville Tennessee has both and so does Bowling Green Kentucky
Both are college towns, by the way

19. Not sure, but . . .
. . . I think White Castle originated in Columbus OH. In any case, White Castle's headquarters are in Columbus OH.

Red state with no White Castle or Krystal here. But, when visiting family in Columbus OH, they treated me to a "slyder" or two. Any MORE than two and . . . well . . . let's not go there! Must say, though, that White Castle's coffee is delicious. :)

18. Red State with Krystal..
But I'd rather have a microwave White Castle. We tried fresh Krystals vs frozen Castles and the Castles were much better.
