Why are more cable channels making their own programming?
Sci fi channel used to run old sci-fi tv. That's cool, that's why I liked it.

But more and more they are making their own programs, which are pretty much stupid. "Scare tactics", sounds more like a cheap horror show than sci-fi. Let alone the repuke host who was from 90210. :puke:

Game Show Network? Well, they used to air old game shows. That's why I liked them. Now they're airing more and more "original" stuff, of which they only look for contestants in California. Yawn. Old game shows had comparatively bigger prizes and took people from all over America. Maybe that's why they were popular?

Whassup? How many more ways can they beg people to stop supporting cable or satelite? Can't these premium stations afforf the stupid licensing fees? (yes, they are premium. Cable is premium, Cinemax is simply extra. Anything you have to pay for above and beyond the ludicrous advertisements is premium. And why commercials for cable channels?! We're already paying for it as a premium service.

Their web sites are also way over-bloated, and consider more people are sticking to 56k because of cost (hah hah reagan, your de-regulation did squat zilch in the end...)
