Which 60s show would you rather prefer to watch:
"Star Trek" - the daily lessons of love and humanity from Captain Kirk...

or

"Lost in Space" - a campy queeny kiddie show where Dr. Pedophile Smith always goes off with Will, Major West takes delicious Teenage Robinson out on the chariot unsupervised, and June Lockhart is left to make the coffee while Penny gripes about being on a new planet which looks identical to the one they were on last week... :eyes:

I like 'em both, especially LiS's third season. The first season, while 'serious', seems a little too namby-pamby and dated. Season 3 has camp on its side, which oddly makes it the most re-watchable of them all. It's also fun watching the cast turning their heads to hide their giggling and smirks when the alien vegetable of the week says something incredibly dorky. Of course, the technobabble makes it look dumb, any show that has to rely on technobabble is ultimately going to look dumb...

Naturally, Kirk-era Trek dealt with social issues. And did so without using silly technobabble either.

2. Lost in Space
I was a little kid, I loved it. I have never really been a trekki even though I did enjoy the original series when it was on.

4. No choice here...STAR TREK
I discovered Trek before Lost in Space. When I saw Lost in Space on Saturday morning TV I thought it was stupid.

Trek dealt with people from all walks of life getting along. The philosophy that struck me most strongly was the Vulcan concept of IDIC: Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations. What an awesome way of viewing the world.
