Who told Rod Stewart he should do a version of "Baby It's Cold Outside?"
I didn't even realize that was Dolly Parton when I heard it on the radio I was so busy focusing on what a horrible rendition this was. In retrospect it's very obviously her. Can I nominate that for a really poor duet match up? I like both artists, but not together and not on this song. Give me Lou Rawls and Diane Reeves!

Any other really bad duet combos spring to mind?

5. a musical tragedy
Rod Stewart doing pop ballads and standards. And selling records. Just unbelievable. I'm sorry if anyone of you think this has-been has any talent at all. If you want to hear this music why not get the original recordings? He's just proof that some people will buy anything sort of crap.

6. I agree.
Some of Rod Stewart's early stuff doesn't bother me, but good grief, spare us the trashing of "classics."

10. The same person who said that...
...R Kelly should go into babysitting!

And does anybody else remember this story approx. 8 years ago about Rod and how he found a way to keep his voice from going during concerts? His "remedy" was to drink a glass of rum & coke. My thoughts on this is, Who'd notice him loosing his voice anyways?!!??
