What's the most you've ever spent on a date?
Edited on Thu Dec-02-04 03:37 PM by asthmaticeog
Once, between taxis, a fabulous hoity-toity dinner, theater tickets, and drinks after the show, I found myself flabbergasted to have relieved myself of about $400. Seems it worked, though, as it was a first date and we wound up staying together for over a year. ;)

Who else here has had date sticker-shock?

6. Little Italy where?
NYC? Boston?

I once dropped about $200 at Da Nico in NYC's Little Italy, and damn if I wouldn't do it again, if I had the means anymore.

11. Define date. Is this a single evening event or does a full
weekend together count?

13. I'll have to answer as a recipient.
When we were dating my husband spent well over a grand on a single date. Fool paid to fly me in for New Year's Eve. We did one of those hotel ballroom packages so I'm not even counting the airfare. If we had the resources I think he'd still pull stunts like that.
