I'm a goof
I went in for a nap about 3:00, and I must have slept pretty well, because when I woke up, it was about 5:00. Well, when I got up to use the facilities, I thought it was morning! I started to go back to bed, and the phone rang. I grabbed it and told the person they were calling me at 5:30 in the morning! They, of course, told me, no, it was 5:30 in the late afternoon!

So I got confused. I can't believe I did that. Has it happened to anyone else? Or should I check myself into Bellevue soon? Now, I think I'm fine, but boy was that strange!

3. That happened to me once in HS ...
I was so used to having to go to bed camp every day ... so one day I was sleep ... and then I woke up at like 7:25 pm in the evening . Since it was the summertime , its still light outside around that time . I woke up like " OHMIGOSH I AM SO LATE ! " - I was thinking that it was 7:25 AM lol - I woke up put on my shorts and t-shirt , grabbed my bag , my boots and my clarinet and rush out of the house until my mom stopped and told me it was 7:25 am and it was Friday - I felt misplaced for a moment , that shows you how hard I was sleeping ...

So Bellevue , admit 2 please lol ;)

4. The last time I went to Paris I got to my hotel at 6:00 am and decided to
nap for a couple of hours. I woke up at 12:00 pissed off that I had slept for six hours. When I opened the blinds it was pitch dark outside. Instead of 12:00 noon it was 12:00 midnight. I had been asleep for 18 hours.

5. I've done that.
It principally happens when you sleep deeply and wake up at a time that could be either morning or afternoon like you did. I did it a couple of times when I was pregnant and working full time - I was always exhausted. Wierd feeling. :silly:
