I am! I have the dates off from work now. Anyone want to form a contingent?

1. Inauguration Day Gifts
I don't know about you guys, but much of my day is consumed with worries over what to give King George for his inauguration. Since it's right around the corner, preparations for the big event are in high gear at my house and I've come up with some ideas to bounce off you.

Should we all pitch in and get King George a super sized bag of Mister Salty pretzels for his big day? It might not sound like much, but I'll have them professionally wrapped. And it's high time we held a telethone for the Bush Twins so they can have boob jobs in time for the inauguration. And what about a bag of vomit for the first lady. It'll bring back sentimental memories of when George was hitting the bottle, and liven up Laura's staid suits.

7. I'd go if I could.
Are people still going to turn their backs on him when he goes by? I think that's a great idea!

13. If I was that close to him
I would have no choice but to throw eggs or whatever I had in my hand. The least I would do is give him the "canadian welcome" by extending my middle finger.

6. would anybody be interested in a large "Bush Cheated" banner ?
that was carried in the coronation protests in 2001, and was featured in Fahrenheit 9/11?

a buddy of mine made it, he and his wife took it to d.c. and carried it at the front of the march from dupont circle to a riot police line at 14th & K.
they've been having some money troubles, so he's thinking about adding it to the pile of stuff he's been selling on Ebay.

It's definitely the REAL deal.
