The BTK Killer
They should just hold a town meeting and say it's to gather news on the BTK killer and have hidden cameras at the meeting and do profiles on everyone who shows that could be the killer. He obviously wants attention.
I guarantee they will catch him if they do that.

5. I admit I follow these true-crime programs on A&E

The scariest episode I ever saw of Cold Case Files was about a guy they've dubbed the Original Night Stalker (because his crimes predated Richard Ramirez).

Anyway, even before he murdered people in Southern California in the late '70s and early '80s, the same suspect was the East Area Rapist in Sacramento in the mid-'70s (they proved this through DNA testing).

Anyway, point of my story is that the police did hold a town meeting about the East Area Rapist, during which one guy stood up and said, "I can't believe it's possible for a man to break into someone's house and rape a woman while her husband is sleeping right next to her." (The rapist had done just that.)

Well, a few nights later, guess who was the next victim of this guy? :scared: Yes, the man who stood up in the meeting was tied up while his wife was attacked next to him. :scared:

I wish I'd never seen that episode - it still freaks me out, and they never caught him.
