I just had a kickass debate tonight!

It was the mock Iraqi Governing Council debate on the elections. Many groups were represented such as France, Germany, Russia, Jordan, Iran, Egypt, and Syria, along with the Sunni leaders, the Shia leaders, and the Shiite leaders. I was assigned to the Moqtada al-Sadr group, and for those that don't know who he is---he's the lovable little irate Shi'ite cleric that had two assassination attempts upon him by the U.S.

We had so much fun representing the various groups, and when my turn came up, I growled about the infidels, the mock puppet Allawi, the 14 permanent bases being built in Iraq, the assassination attempts on me, and I called for an election boycott as well as a fatwah on all US occupiers.

The UN stepped in and tried to get us all to agree to the resolutions. Hezbollah got up, and said, "Those of us who don't agree with the imperalist infidels, walk out!" so those of us that didn't agree with holding elections got up and walked out of the room to the professor's laughter. It was awesome!
