Car problems need help...
I have a 2003 Chevy Impala, today my turn signals(both) and emergency flashers stopped flashing, all at the same time. The lights still come on,changed the fuse but didn't help.Question.. is there a blinker unit? and if so where the heck is it located? Manual says nothing about any of this. Thanks in advance to any one who helps.:yourock:

2. Would agree, though maybe a burned out bulb as well?
Have seen this before, one bulb goes and they all stop on that side. But I think you are correct as those I saw are older models.

3. Relay Switch
It is generally on the top of the fuse panel which is generally under the dash on the driver's side (You generally have to put your head on the brake pedal and look up. In most cars it is put there to protect it from water (Check your Owner's manual for exact location of fuse panel).

4. Turn signal relay
It's a turn signal relay. It is usually grouped in a fuse/relay box under the hood in close proximity to the battery. When you take off the cover, there is usually a legend to tell you what does what. It should cost less than $10 for the part.

5. My Lumina.......
is a couple of years older than your Impala but it does have a blinker unit and it isn't located next to the fuses or under the hood with the relays. They placed it in a junction box inside the passenger compartment under the instrument panel, just to the left of the steering column. I had to find it because mine happened to go bad, still is in fact. You reminded me that I need to go get that part :)
