A weird thing I got in my site e-mail- Anyone wanna help me out?
I just got a message titled "Just wanted to say hi- Haha" in my site e-mail. Having just been hacked, you can understand why I don't want to open this. I'm drawing a blank on how you scan for viruses in Yahoo e-mail without opening the e-mail. Yes, my brain IS fried. Anyone remember how to do this?

1. Yaho scans for viruses automatically.
But if you don't trust it, just delete it. Better not to take the risk.

3. it should have been screened by the Yahoo software
if you have your own PC and are only using the Yahoo a/c for convenience, anonymity or some other reason, you could try setting the Yahoo a/c to bounce forward to your desktop e-mail client. That way, your own AV software should act as a second line of defence. In effect, the e-mail passes through two screening processes.

It is advisable to configure your terrestrial e-mail client so .html is disabled BTW. Some virii exploit the use of .html in e-mail client proggies.

5. Probably a Trojan
"Trojan.Myet is a Trojan Horse that makes changes to the computer settings in the registry. The existence of the file haha.exe is an indication of a possible infection. This Trojan does not have a damaging payload."

6. Wow, you're having a lot of problems
A hacker and a virus sent to you? That's too bad. I don't understand people who do things like that.
