New show on FOX in January called POINT PLEASANT
Ok last night I was watching the OC on Fox (yeah i know, pathetic, but i LOVE that show)...anyways, there was a promo on during the commercials for a show called POINT PLEASANT...I was like..."oh wow! Thats the name of my old town in NJ. I wonder what the show is about?"

"Something wicked this way comes to a usually quiet New Jersey beach town, when a sudden, violent storm washes in more than the tide in the new drama series POINT PLEASANT premiering Thursday, Jan. 20 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX."

HOLY SHIT! its about my old town! Sorry, I just thought this was awesome :)

3. And did you ever see "Down the Shore"
with the theme music being "I don't wanna go home" by Southside.
Point Pleasant has gone to hell lately, since the yuppies bought everything and the original Jenkinsons burnt down and they replaced it with that guido palace. Martells is still cool, though, and until recently jenkinsons inlet bar was like walking 20 years back in time.

4. Hey! I was born there!
Shore General Hospital. I better warn my cousins. They still live there.

Do you think Jay and Silent Bob will make a cameo? That musician guy from Freehold? ;-)
