My Sources Say Jason Kidd & Alonzo Mourning Are Getting Traded To...
Miami in the very near future, possibly before New Years.

In return the Nets would get Michael Doleac, Damon Jones and three first round draft picks.

You heard it here first, if it happens.

2. hell no
he's back and playing very well, averaging about 14 pts, 8 rbs and 2 blks a game.

Oh, expect the trade to happen in two parts. Mourning will go first, probably within the next two weeks.

It'll be Mourning for Doleac and Jones.

3. The money would not work on that
New Jersey trades:
PG Jason Kidd (No games yet played in 2004/05)
C Alonzo Mourning (10.3 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 0.7 apg in 25.5 minutes)

New Jersey receives:
C Michael Doleac (2.4 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 0.4 apg in 12.4 minutes)
PG Damon Jones (10.1 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 2.9 apg in 27.9 minutes)

Change in team outlook: +2.2 ppg, -2.2 rpg, and +2.6 apg.

Miami trades:
C Michael Doleac (2.4 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 0.4 apg in 12.4 minutes)
PG Damon Jones (10.1 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 2.9 apg in 27.9 minutes)
Miami receives:
Jason Kidd (No games yet played in 2004/05)
C Alonzo Mourning (10.3 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 0.7 apg in 25.5 minutes)

Change in team outlook: -2.2 ppg, +2.2 rpg, and -2.6 apg.

TRADE DECLINED

Due to New Jersey and Miami being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. New Jersey and Miami had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did not happen here (only New Jersey met the condition). This trade does not satisfy the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

5. well, half that trade is guaranteed to happen
Doleac and Jones will go for Mourning. That trade is gonna happen.

As for Kidd, his status is more up in the air. He will go to one of three teams:

Miami
Sacramento
Dallas

My source says the most likely guy is suitor is Miami because Kidd has always wanted to play with a great Big Man like Shaq.

7. team needs a change
Kidd to Sac for Bibby + Ostertag perhaps.

Kidd, Webber and Peja would be hard to beat.

8. Kidd for Eddie Jones would work money wise
Jason Kidd has a tough contract to move and there are still 4 years left on it.

Dwayne Wade is going to move to the 2?
