A quick update on the "other" site

IPowerweb sucks... we already knew that. Turns out that I'm going to have to backup and reinstall everything, which is what I would have done on Thursday, if they hadn't told me in no uncertain terms NOT to do that :grr:

I have to work 3 to 11 today, so I won't have time to do it until then. Mr Scorpio saved the day and found a link to our chatroom that he'll be posting about later, so chat WILL be up and running tonight. As soon as I get home, I'll get down to the business of getting the forum up and running, hopefully by late tonight or early tomorrow.

Oh yeah... one last thing. IPowerweb really really really sucks :nuke:

2. I found a way to sneak in.

I followed the link from the "You have a private message" in my e-mail and managed to get in (saved my messages too just in case). I can't access the index page at all, but snuck into the most widely post room there anyway too. :7

5. Hi Sarahbelle I just tried that ethod as well and worked perfectly

was able to get to all the areas I have access to, didnt post or anything but it looks quite normal there now and is loading very fast compared to the last few days before the hack.

So it is there and up and running... thanks for the tip!!
