16. Seriously? I love that movie!
I laugh my ass off every time I see it. Then again, I laugh my ass off while watching any Mel Brooks film. :)

10. Why is The Princess Bride a "guilty" pleasure?
Edited on Sat Dec-04-04 10:03 PM by Lone_Wolf_Moderate
I love that movie!

Some of my favorite lines:

Inigo: You seem like a decent fellow. I'd hate to kill you.
Westley: And you seem like a decent fellow. I'd hate to die.

Inigo: Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

28. It is a great film, but for some reason ...
whenever I mention to someone that I like it, they look at me like I just had a lobotomy or something, LOL! I guess it's the kind of movie that you either love or hate ... and I just happen to know a lot of people who hate it.

13. The Rock - aka Michael Bay goes bananas
with his quick to slow-mo cutting, pointless destruction, and Nic Cage being the biggest dick (some people see it as being quirky) Nic Cage can be, not to mention the final nail in Sean Connery's integrity.

33. LOL! What can I say?
Sometimes I like to unwind with a little mindless fun in my movies. :) I like plenty of "true" classics, too. My taste in movies, and even in music, is very eclectic. :hippie:

19. Blame it on Rio
How many movies can you watch where Joe Bologna and Michael Caine end up on a crushed bed together half naked? :D

I know, I know--the guys like Michelle Johnson (a no talent) and a semi-clad young Demi Moore.

Edited on Sat Dec-04-04 10:22 PM by BattyDem
"Attack of the killer tomatoes! Attack of the killer tomatoes!
They'll beat you, bash you, squish you, mash you
Chew you up for brunch and finish you off for dinner or lunch!"

There's actually an official web site for the movie ... the webmaster must feel really guilty, LOL!

http://killertomatoes.com/

ON EDIT: you wanna know what I really feel guilty about? ThE fact that I actually know the lyrics to the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes theme song! :silly:

26. TPB was on A&E last night, but it's like Monty Python
after watching either film, I go around fitting movie quotes into my conversations for days.

I do not mean to pry, but you don't by any chance happen to have six fingers on your right hand?

35. Oh man, how could I forget ...
Phantom of the Paradise!

Brian DePalma's cross between "Phantom of the Opera" and "Faust" - it's a satire of the horror movie genre and the music business.

I own the DVD and the CD ... and I refuse to feel guilty about it, LOL! :P
