18. If the yeoman is steering... |
|
You are in more trouble than just the storm.
Steering is a Boatswain's, Quartermaster or Able Bodied Seaman's job...not the captain's secretary's.

Of course I meant "helmsman", which may not have been right, either.
Reporting for keel-haul, Hawker.

That picture didn't really make any sense as a hurricane.

I thought it looked 'wrong'. Why would any ship be heading toward a hurricane, especially a tanker running empty (note how high out of the water the hull is...If you have to run into a hurricane, a tanker would fill the tanks with seawater to lower the center of gravity)

19. On second look, not a tanker |
|
Not enough piping on deck, too many hatches. Bulk cargo, ore or grain or something. I don't know weather on the Great Lakes; but don't they have nasty storms sometimes? Or was that just the song (Edmund Fitzgerald)?

Swiss Cottage Library where Isabel 's twin sister appears to be having a major tantrum right outside the window - it's blown all the leaves off the sycamores and stuck them to the panes, so you can't even see outside......

|
Still no power. The house he lives in is destroyed pretty much but he had moved all of his stuff out. A bunch of the guys were calling him "chicken" and said he was overreacting.....they lost all their stuff, his was in at his workplace.
The picture is tripped out.
