White walls, dark woodwork, maple floors.
One gray office chair (in) and one cigar-colored upholstered chair.

I love my sun room.

4. Pretty boring
White walls. Light tan carpeting. These colors are the result of living in a modern duplex.
My desk is black. My husband's desks are light brown. We have blue chairs. Our stuff doesn't match, but we don't really care. Maybe someday when we own a place of our own that we can change as we like and have enough money to buy new stuff in groups, we'll care more.

And the unholy, indescribably luster of the Colour Out of Space!

8. wallpaper....
off-white with pictures of mixing bowls and such. Don't ask, it was here when we moved in. My 9 year old loves it because she can come in and be destructive by rippig wallpaper off the walls. One day this room will be refinished. One day.

9. Work in Progress
Chestnut colored stucco, dark mahogany furniture. Paint cans, rollers, sandpaper, plastic tarps... a work in progress (read: mess!).

10. My "office"...
... is a pretty big rectangular room. It is painted to match a wool rug (pattern design, not an oriental or persian) that I got for it.

The end walls are dark olive green. The side walls are brown. There is an underhang (ceiling feature that is hard to describe) that is a lighter yellower brown, and the ceiling is a medium to dark blue.

Yes, for once I painted a room (and this took a solid week to do) the way I wanted it without worrying about "resale value" :)

It is a very dark room, with all saturated colors, and I like it that way. :)

12. Peach - eeek!
The only room I haven't managed to redo ... yet. Every room was pastel when I moved in - and we're talking ugly pastels: baby blue in the guest room, pink and mauve in the master bedroom, mint green in the dining room, bland yellow in the kitchen. Hideous. I've since painted everything white with one obnoxious accent wall: unripe banana green in the living room (to match my 8 foot Frankenstein/poodle art piece), egg yolk yellow in the dining room (to match my Keith Haring lithograph) with a red area rug and glass and black iron furniture, tangerine in my bedroom to match my 10 foot sheep on metal artwork - and it doesn't clash too much with my deep burgundy carpet. I refinished my rustic pine floors. But this room is peach - peach carpet, peach walls and ceiling. Unfortunately, I've got too many projects that are necessary to bother with the cosmetic right now.
