Poll question: Tonight's flamebait debate: choice (male)
Do you agree or disagree with this statement:

If women have reproductive choice to control their destiny, then men should have the same control over their destiny, and should not have to pay child support.

5. Two people agree!
I didn't state a position myself.

Thanks for letting me know I shouldn't even ask the question, though.

3. This is quite a dilly of a pickle...

on the one hand I want to say, YES. Because it's the woman's choice if she doesn't want to have the child and if she wants to have it even though she knows the father doesn't want to support her or it, then it was her decision and she obviously thinks that she can or will be fine on her own, or with other help, so no child support for her!

BUUUUUUT...

if the child is in this world doesn't the father have some type of responsibility? I dunno, I got nothin'

6. Don't have sex
if you fear a conflict in the outcome. Partners should agree on their abortion stance in case contraceptive accidents occur.

...that's used to justify banning abortion as well. I'm not saying that you're right or wrong or if this should be on DU, I'm just saying that you hear that.
