To be sung to the tune of Oh Christmas Tree....
No Christmas tree
No Christmas tree
Our house still looks like Halloween...

The candy corn is still displayed...
discarded costume with plastic blade...

No Christmas tree
No Christmas tree...
Procrastination kills me.

Our neighbor's lights are all hung out..
They look at me and start to shout,

"NO Christmas Tree, No Christmas tree!!!
Our HOA will fine thee!

1. OMG if you could see my neighbor's house - shit, even
his wife calls him "Clark" - and then there's mine - pathetic I tell you! The only reason why the lights are on my outside tree is because I didn't take them off last year!

That song is too cute.

2. Good God.
You live in a HOA? Or is that just a song? If you do, that sucks.

3. Nope. No HOA. If there ever was, we would move. It just fit there. A few
of our neighbors are bugging us about the jack o latern on the door though. It messes with the "white icicle" theme. ;)

5. mine are not out yet, and my tree is not up either
Good God it is only DEcember 6th

I come from the old school, put your tree up the Sunday before Christmas and take it down New Year's Day...well actually I take my tree down on 12th night.

Hopefully, I will get my lights put up and tree started in c couple of days. The tree is an ordeal, and my husband is not here to help me out so I am not sure what I will do.

I suggested to my daughter that we just pick up a small table top tree and decorate it with the new ornaments we acquired this year and whatever is on top of the ornament box. Then she can have the tree when she gets her own place.

Hopefully she and I will have the energy to get it down from the attic and get it decorated this week.

My yard lights will be much easier

6. Some were out the day after Halloween. I'm not a big outdoor decoration
person, but my neighbors sure are this year. Our house looks like the scary, dark forbidding house...:hi:
