i think i was "recognized" by freepers the other day |
|
i was moving with the afternoon herds through the train station, and i noticed a bookbag covered in buttons.
one was a big button, that had the bush/cheney Logo. the rest (maybe 8) were "96.9 taLk of boston" buttons which is the station that pLays hannity, and o'reiLLy, and Laura ingsomething...
anyhow, i was annoyed by the buttons and i noticed that the woman with said backpack and her friend were both young. so as i sat there thinking how ridicuLous they are (i aLways get mad at young peopLe, or gay peopLe, or women, who support thise regime) i Lifted my head up from my book to get a better Look at them... and i made eye contact; they were staring at me in a point/giggLe kind of way.
so i went back to my book. maybe a minute or so Later i peaked up again and they were stiLL Looking in that point/giggLe kinda way.
then it dawned on me that maybe they recognized me.... so i stared them down untiL they stopped.
i haven't decided yet whether that was a creepy experience or not.

2. My bookbag has 20 liberal buttons on it |

And whenever I'm on the T, there's always a smart ass Freeper-type that makes a comment about one of them. The next time you see someone perhaps laughing at you, ask them why- and then kick their ass ;)

They obviously recognized you suffer from a "history addiction" which leads to cognitive thought. Next time try reading from the 'left Behind' series, or the delightful 'My Pet Goat' to avoid awkward points and giggles in our new world order.

Since they were young, I'd comment on all their buttons, and then ask them if they support the war. Of course, the perfect follow-up is to ask why they haven't enlisted. I mean, if you support the war and are of fighting age, the ONLY patriotic thing to do is to go fight.
However, since bush won they may get to enlist - whether they like it or not. Maybe those conservative buttons can help shield them from all the bullets headed their way.
