18. That was out anthem at OSU during the
late 70's. If we were at a party and that song came on we would just go beserk.....

One time a few people literally went through the floor and into the basement bedroom of a freind of mine.....

They landed on the bed, came back yp atairs and continued to party...

BTW, the house was condemed and destoyed after spring quarter....

10. It don't come easy - Ringo Starr (also the NoNo Song)
Got to pay your dues if you want to sing the blues
And you know it don't come easy...

And don't forget the classic "NO NO Song"

No no no no I don't smoke it no more
I'm tired of waking up on the floor
No thank you please it only makes me sneaze
And then it makes it hard to find the door.

22. "Taking Care of Business"---BTO
I had that album ("Not Fragile") and I played it 'til the grooves wore through---don't ask me why; the '70s were a confused and confusing time.

25. Seventeen
by Janis Ian.

Never heard the Cooper song, but I'm sure it's not as sappy as Ian's.

And what the hey, as long as we're on number songs from the '70's, how about Ringo Starr's rendition of You're Sixteen?

24. "Born To Run" - The Boss!!
Also, "Fire and Rain" - James Taylor

Both songs mde mega-stars out of their young writer/singer men, and (I believe) landed them each on a cover of Time.
