7. I can answer that!
My prescription drug plan is fantastic. I have a $7 co-pay on everything except what my doctors prescribe. Then it's $40.

30. Hey, that was going to be my answer
(The not enough part.) ;)

I'm on 300mg of Wellbutrin and also take Ativan (Lorazepam) on occasion when my anxiety gets out of control. Like...after stolen elections and during unjust wars and things. :eyes:

31. Yeah, the election sent me into a tailspin
And this is the first holiday season after my estranged husband killed himself in June, so I really think I don't think I could get enough drugs at this point. Whatever makes the pain go away, I'll take it.

I'm going to ask my doc about Wellbutrin on Wednesday. :hi:

34. I'm so sorry to hear about your ex
(for lack of a better term). A friend of mine was estranged from her husband for about a year, and he recently died of pancreatic cancer from alcoholism...basically a slow suicide, as he had every possibility of stopping it before it got to that point. She wanted nothing to do with him by then, but it was still sad and hard to deal with when she got the news.

I've been on Wellbutrin for 4.5 out of 6 years on meds. (Switched to Effexor for a while, which seriously made me crazy.) I'm a big fan of the Wellbutrin. :) Although it doesn't seem to be quite as effective as it once was...but it's hard to say if it's the drug or life.

35. Thanks again
And I am going to check that out. I tried Effexor and ended up in the ER from it. It didn't agree with me, to put it mildly.

Hope things get better for you and me, and for all of us.

I wish they'd start going after the root causes though, treating the symptoms only goes so far.

24. Like with a lobotomy ?

Getting at 'causes' in the brain are relatively difficult unless you have and can identify a true organic cause like a tumor or a nexus of activity like in some cases of epilepsy and Parkinons, etc.

For diffusely manifested diseases, especially those which appear as emotional disturbances, treating the symptoms is currently the only practical and safe alternative.

36. I've just started taking Asacol
I am hoping that it will help me with my digestive problems because the other medicines that I've tried to take for it either didn't work at all or gave me intolerable side effects.
I also take a beta blocker, atenenol, but am thinking about asking my doctor if I can cut the dosage in half and eventually try to get off of it. I weigh 40 pounds less now than when I was prescribed it and my blood pressure has been well into normal change.
I also take oral contraceptives and probably will until we start trying for children.
