He let Deborah Norville deal with the increasingly passe Scott Peterson matter and the HOT new Princess Diana tapes, and he totally *scooped* the HUGE Motley Crue reunion story. Thank God for Larry King! We might have to listen to a lot of boring crap about stolen elections and people getting killed in Iraq if it weren't for his relentless pursuit of journalistic excellence.

or are they back together as in playing and touring? I saw them in 84 when they opened for Ozzy, didn't like them then and i can't imagine they've improved with age.

9. You reminded me of their first show (cancelled) in Edmonton.

They were booked in about 1983 to play at a club called Scandals.

Trouble is, Scandals was a new wave/new romantic-oriented club. I don't know if the club manager saw their makeup and assumed that since they looked like Specimen or Gene Loves Jezebel that they must be all right, but some yahoo called in a bomb threat.

So I guess the Crue were scared enough by explosives to call the whole thing off.
