Poll question: For Italians (and non-Italians): Pizza or pasta
for Italians especially, would you rather have pizza or your grandmother's pasta??

for me, it's my grandmother's pasta. I don't know what she does, but her spagetti is incredible!

3. my grandmother (the Italian one) made the greatest spagetti and meatballs
EVER!

I'd take that over pizza any day of the week.

Although, I do have a soft spot in my heart for Ginos pizza in Elmont, NY. As well as the thin crust pizza from Dominos with bacon, cheddar cheese and pepperoni.

4. Ever have pizza at Empire Pizza on 34th in NYC?
It's across from the Empire State Building (natch!) and it was a godsend to me when I visited NYC from living in L.A. for 13 years. Now that I'm home in Massachusetts, I've happily been spending a good amount of time at Papa Gino's, which, while not the A-1 pizza in the world is a thousand times better than almost anyplace I went to in L.A. for pizza.

Although there is a pizza shop in the shopping area of New York, New York in Vegas that has decent pizza. It's great to got pizza and bring it up to the hotel room for a small party! (I think they also deliver, but I can't remember.)

5. Pasta, alway
I don't even really care for pizza that much. Every once in a while, I eat it. But I could eat pasta every day. As a matter of fact, tomorrow I'm making a baked ziti. Mmmmm... baked ziti..... Whoops, this isn't the Homer thread.......
