I saw my sister-in-law naked... |
|
...completely by accident the other day. Should I tell her or my wife? It would realy embarass her and even though my wife has no problem with porn or anything, the fact that it was her sister may make her feel weird.
She was taking a shower in our bedroom bathroom. I did not know. The door was open and she was getting out. I saw her in the bedroom mirror that sits on the wall opposite the bathroom. She did not know I saw her. I haven't said anything aboiut it.
Should I tell anyone or just keep it to myself? My initial reaction was no harm, no foul. What do you think?

It was just another human body. If you believe your wife or sister-in-law may be bothered by it I wouldn't tell, but otherwise tell. It it was more than 24 hours ago, you better keep it to yourself. Waiting longer than that may not look good.
Whose responsibility is it to close the bathroom door? The person that just happens to pass by, or the person in the bathroom. Of course there may be a problem if she intentionally left the door open for you to see. ;-)
Be glad she didn't look in the mirror at the same time you did. Than you would be in trouble to spying on her. :)

... I get the vibe that this incident triggered something in your head that you did not like... Opened the door to the "other side", if you will... If you can't get this vision out of your head, I would say you've got bigger problems than if to tell or not...
Do not tell your wife or her sister, at any cost... What for? What in the world would this accomplish? I get the feeling you WANT the sister to know what you saw... Ask yourself why this had such an impact on you...
If I'm wrong, please forgive me...

...but why is everyone assuming that seeing her naked bothers me? I was just wondering out loud if I should mention it. The reason I am reluctant to say anything is that I'm worried it might bother them. I got a kick out of it myself. Perhaps it was a dumb (ala obvious answer) question.
Did I get a cheap thrill out of it? Hell yes. Would I ever cheat on my wife? Absolutely not. Well, only with myself. LOL
Now if it had been my mother-in-law, I would probably need professional help. :-)

On the other hand if I were married and my brother in law was hot and I had the opportunity to see him naked and nobody know I would probably take it. Of course that's a totally made up scenario.

80. And That's WHY You Should Not Say a Damn Thing |
|
Because if you do, the question that will be on their minds is 'did he like what he saw?' You do NOT want to start that kind of game between sisters, not unless they are very broadminded.
What you ought to do is just not say anything; save it for some day, many years from now, when your sister-in-law needs a little boost and/or your wife needs a laugh.

Of course you shouldn't tell. Why should you? As another person said, she was the one who left the door open.
I kinda get a weird feeling about her not shutting it, actually. If I were taking a shower in someone else's house, I'd be darn sure to shut that door. Heck I never even leave it open when I'm at home.

48. My brother-in- law saw me topless |
|
Back in my party years I was out drinking one night and way too drunk to drive home. A friend called my sister to come pick me up, but since she was 8 months pregnant she sent her husband.
My brother in law comes to get me so I can crash on their couch for the night and he said as soon as I got out of the car, as I'm walking up to the front door, I start taking of my shirt. He shouted "You're not wearing a bra!" and quickly got me inside their house. My sister helped me to the couch and I passed out.
I was so drunk but I vaguely remember the incident. I always slept in the nude so I guess I was just anxious to get to sleep (pass out) and decided to start getting undressed as soon as possible.
My sister thought it was hysterical. At first I was a little embarassed around my brother-in-law, but I got over it. My family laughs about it to this day.
So to you I say, no harm, no foul. You were not purposely trying to see her. It is just one of those things that happens along the journey of life.

LIAR LIAR LIAR! You didn't know? HA! Does the shower make less noise in your neck of the woods? Fess up, you just want a 3-some. hehehe just kidding.......
Seriously though, don't mention it. You are feeling guilty because you saw something you feel you shouldn't have. Telling your wife and sister in law will just make them feel guilty also. Your wife will feel bad she let her sis use the shower and the sis will feel bad she didn't close the door. Why stuff everyone in the guilt blender with you? And for God's sake please post photos next time so the rest of us can ummmm help you better next time. ;)

I think we pretend to be interested in sex here in America - we think we are interested in it, but we are more interested in the idea of it ( fantasy vs reality) or how to repress it. Sort of like anti-Victorians or something. It's on display all the time, but we really are afraid of it on some level.

Ah well. It's just that over here if you accidentally see somebody naked you pretend you didn't and that's it. It's the same thing as when somebody accidentally farts or otherwise slips in your presence.
That something this natural could be discussed at length - hm. Must study it some more.

Last week my hubby was doing some work for our landlord - putting a set of outdoor stairs up on one of the other rentals. The gal who lives there is about 18 or 19, very cute. He was carrying some lumber around the house and caught a glimpse through the window of her in panties and bra - just a quick look. His first reaction was to run down here and tell me! I said, "oh, good for you, baby" and went back to whatever I was doing. He just had to share because he felt like he'd gotten a bonus on the job and he knew I wouldn't give a shit. Nor would I if it was my sister. If anything, I was happy for him because I knew it was a bit of a thrill. But that's us....

If nobody knows what happened and you can live with it, then shut your pie hole. No sense embarrassing the hell out of her or risk pissing off your wife for no reason. Besides, she's family, right?
Accidents are accidents. If your having some sort of weird guilt trip, like "I felt strangely attracted to her" or "I couldn't stop looking, am I a pervert?" then maybe you should talk to your wife about it.
But if it was purely accidental, just relax.
