Poll question: Bathroom Doors - To Close or Not to Close
Another thread got me wondering - Am I the only one who never closes the bathroom door. I live alone, I see no need to close it. What about everyone else?

1. I always close them
But I've been told I sometimes leave the door wide open when I've been drinking.

3. I close it.
There are some things I always want to do in private. If I just have to pee and it's a partner or a kid under 5 (my own obviously), I'm not uptight, but anyone else or anything beyond that, I LIKE MY SPACE!!!

5. I close it but
if it doesn't shut all of the way, one of the three cats will nudge it open and come to keep me company....they love to watch the flush!

11. Me, too!
I live alone, so I don't have to close it, but I get furbabies coming in begging for something.

slam against the wall. She REALLY hates to be left out. Leave the door open and she could care less.

6. I live alone
if someone else is around I'll close the door, but that always pisses the cats off. They like to be able to see me at all times.

17. I close it if anyone is around
One place I lived, you could barely close the door and sit down. We usually left that door open since the br was in our bedroom. Annoyed me the entire time we lived there which was almost 8 years.

Changing the subject slightly...When I was 18, I went to Alaska to spend a few months with my sister. We went to visit friends of her boyfriends who had homesteaded in a rural area. The couple had six boys...some my age. I went to use the bathroom and there was no door. My sister or my girlfriend had to stand in the hallway to make sure noone walked by. They built the house themselves and had never gotten around to installing the door. It was the only bathroom and I've always felt sorry for the mother in that family. Some things should be private from your sons.
