...I don't like Green Day much, but appreciate their lyrics in this song.

Well, I suppose Green Day is my favorite of the bunch, but they're still a FAR cry from album of the year

5. I'm also in the "none of the above" crowd |

If I had my way, it would be Cornelius's "Point."
But then again i've always hated canned, commercialized pop. I can see Ray Charles winning a sympathy grammy because of how big awards shows always do that kind of shit post mortem.
Since Kanye West has what, ten or so nominations, that means he won't win Album of the year, but probably everything else. And i'm tired of Alicia Keys and Usher winning for records put out last year. Why not just nominate Outkast again for speakerboxx.
In other words, the grammies can bite me.

my real choice would be VAN LEAR ROSE BY LORETTA LYNNE. Produced by Jack White of the White Stripes--damn best country album to come out in years. But it didn't make the cut. Usher is too overexposed along with Alicia. I think Alicia made it this year because her debut album didn't make the Album of the Year cut--yet it's an okay cd. I like Green Day but heard better rock albums than this. Thank God no Britney or any American Idol schlock!

11. How about none? If I have to pick one, Green Day would be it. |
|
Gotta love the "redneck agenda" stab.
