And I can reuse the paper bags to line my recycling box, among other uses.
However, the cashiers always look at me as if I've grown two heads when I ask for paper, as if it's some horrible aberration.
I always take paper at the one bag-your-own place.
(And I can't stand it when they're bagging your stuff in plastic and put, say, two items in each bag and you wind up with fifty bags of groceries.)
