I'm a happy drunk so beer was always fun but it got to where the hangovers were harder to get over. I guess I just got too old. I don't drink at all now.

Pot made me philosophical and I always enjoyed the great conversations I had while high. I haven't smoked in years. Boy do I miss those days. <heavy sigh>

It's another Xanax and Percocet night for me.

Vastly overrated. Hip and well-loved mainly because it is illegal. I am for legalizing it, if only it will take away its hip and illicit cachet with its obnoxious fans. It will then be just another way to kill brain cells.

I don't begrudge anybody else their illicit pleasures, but personally I don't care for it.

You have a point about the illegality causing its appeal. Among my friends, I am pretty much the only one who doesn't use pot. I don't think it's a coincidence that I am also the only one whose old-hippy parents never strictly prohibited the activity, although they did discourage it.
