2. I would bet you find a real parallel to the civil rights movement
The South went repuke with civil rights movement, and probably so did country music. It had a poor white background, but rednecks would rather vote to segregate and continue to go hungry. The repukes never did shit for them, but they are too dumb to figue it out.

Dwight Yoakum is also a democrat and there are many more but they are afraid to speak up.


Dwight spoke up and he was shunned for a while during Pappy Bush or Raygun years in office.
