Saw The Incredibles - didn't like it.
First part was so boring. Last part had a lot of action but that film is really violent. Some incredible animation.

1. I love the part where he throws the insurance jerk through the wall
so did my 11 year old son, we both cheered. I really liked it.

5. It was REALLY nice to see...
that Mr. Incredible is a liberal, helping people against the big, uncaring corporation. Hell, aren't all superheroes liberal? That's what makes them SUPER! They actually care about others.

2. How could you not like it?
I loved it! Smooth plot, funny, wonderful animation and happy ending. What's to not like?

3. It does have considerably more "real" violence than other Pixar films.

Overall, I thought it was a good movie, but parts did scare my 5 year old.

4. I guess kids are more used to violence now
I liked the part where the elastic woman got caught in the doors. That was pretty creative.

And I loved the water - it was really beautiful

7. Good kids movies should be scary.
After the pablum of the '70s, people forget just how scary the early Disney animations could be -- Tramp fighting the rat in the baby's room, the evil fairy transforming into the dragon, Bambi and the forest creature fleeing the forest fire, Bambi's mother getting shot.

The world is a scary place, and kids flicks are a safe environment for kids to learn that.

6. I loved it. The very concept of supers dealing with mid-life
crises, doing the routine crap that everyone does and wondering what happened to all their dreams. The writing worked on many different levels, not just as a kids show.

"What are you waiting for?"
"I dunno! Something incredible!"
resigned, deflated
"Me too, kid."

Actually, I thought the setup was the best part, and after the mid-point it devolved into just ordinary action animation. OK, extraordinary action animation.

8. Didn't really care for it either.
I thought Finding Nemo was a much better Pixar film.
